12/24/2006 - A user submitted a bunch of images that were created in a photo shoot but were not used. He said that the board could post them so I made a section for them. You can see them here.
12/15/2006 - Just a notice. Guns, Girls, Etc. has changed from a free site to an inexpensive pay site. At $25 a year, it is about the most inexpensive Girls With Guns site out there. Personally, I like to think of it as a CO-OP. Subscribers are helping John defray some of his costs. He isn't going to be making a mint at this rate. Please help support the site. Also, I have some additional scans that will be coming soon, by the end of the month at the very latest.
12/01/2006 - Created a new section for detective magazine covers. Over the last year I have been acquiring detective magazines on eBay when the prices have been favorable and the lot included magazines with the typical 80s-90s Girls With Guns cover. Some are very nice. Check out the images here.

11/25/2005 - I have taken all of the images that I had embargoed in the past because of nudity and put them on the site. I combined these with some recent submissions and suggestions and created another user supplied images forum. You can see the images here: Newest User Images 6 (thanks again to all contributors).
11/15/2005 - Warning: In terms of website policy I have loosened my restrictions on nudity. Although I posted topless girls in the past I am now posting a few pictures of fully nude women where I think the picture has merit to be posted. So the following sections do have some fully nude girls. This site was never "work-safe" in the past and should continue to be considered not to be "work-safe".
Five or six years ago I began collecting images of women posed with firearms
from motion pictures and other media. This has been a fascination with me since
I was a young person, and once the technology became available I started a collection
of these types of images. In the beginning, I started with scans from a flat bed
scanner and then graduated to using a Snappy to capture images from VHS, Laserdisc, TV,
and later DVD. The Snappy does a remarkable job of capturing these images, especially
from quality DVDs. These images have been manually adjusted for color and brightness so
that the image on my monitor (a Sony Multiscan 17sf) is most like the image on the TV
monitor. Hopefully the images are adjusted well for your monitor as well, but I cannot
guarantee this. Most of these images are in 800x600 resolution. A few of the older
ones are in lower resolution. I have since determined that 800x600 is
an ideal resolution for Snappy to acquire images. I am in the process of
reacquiring movies captured in other resolutions so that they can be recaptured in 800x600.
Inspired by other sites of girls with guns, most notably
GunMoll and
Alex In Wonderland, I decided to slap together
this site for other people with similar tastes. You will find roughly a fifty-fifty mix of mass audience
movies such as Thelma And Louise and The Replacement Killers and exploitation flicks like
Andy Sideras' Guns and slightly more palatable junk such as Foxy Brown. There
is a minority of foreign films like Lola Rennt and the HK stuff such as Naked Killer.
Unlike GunMoll and
Alex In Wonderland and like an Albert Pyun film, this
site has low production values. In fact, the
image index page and all of the image pages are computer generated. It is no surprise that they
all look the same. It prevents me from making scads of typos and getting blisters
on my fingers.
Please read the copyright notice before continuing. It protects the rights of the creators
of these images. I have no rights to these images and only use them under the
fair use doctrine in U.S. copyright law. I have made the notice conversational and
it explains what fair use is, i.e. not Napster.
This site will be updated on an irregular basis, check back if you wish. All I have to
do is maintain my image directory and run my regeneration script from time to time and
upload the results. This is the payoff for the site sucking visually. If you have a
suggestion for a movie that is within this genere, is not presented on this site,
and is widely available for rental in VHS or DVD, let me know. If you have quality
scans of such a movie in 800x600 resolution, let me know.
Also, please don't enter the site if images of women pointing lethal weapons at
your virtual head might scare or offend you...
